Marcy is a classic, distinguished name. It's made a comeback recently and brings to mind wealth and accomplishment. More likely to hear it at Harvard than state. Anything to spare us another Brittney.

I love the name Marcy! What a good choice for a name. I haven't come across anyone with that name in quite a long time, but I think it's great! :)

you know how you have a bad kid with that name and it turns you off well i did so sorry but i don't like that name marcy. Christine is cute though sorry i know this isn't a big help

I personally don't, because "Marcy" reminds me of that little girl with the glasses in the Peanuts comic (Although I think she spelled it "Marcie")... not that there is anything wrong with the character or name, I just wouldn't want my daughter associated with it.
