Why do white people want to control everything? They want to control society, history, weather, the way other ethic groups live their lives, money, power, religion and so on.
Shouldn’t we all just learn to control ourselves?

You can't say "White People control everything". That's pretty sterotypical and just rude. Just because we have white presidents, there are white cops, judges, or people who have to do with authority that are white, doesn't mean they run our lives. Anyone can run for president, be a judge, a cop that meets the requirements. There has been hate crimes caused by some authority of any race, but still, we run our own lives. It's how we do, and if it will get us far in life, or keep us behind. Think about that!

Obviously we can't control ourselves or the government wouldn't be so damn overbearing. This is not a solely white issue...but, if you want to make it a racial battle, ok.
Ethnic groups should learn to assimilate and live by society's rules and stop trying to make blame white people for their pitfalls.
There....ask an ignorant question get an ignorant answer!

Do not generalize and accuse any one race of trying to control "everything." In all races and religions there are human beings who want to be in change and control "everything." It is generalized, and obviously uneducated thinking along these lines that continue to drive human beings apart.
If we would all, no matter what our race and beliefs, be more accepting of others no matter what their race and beliefs, the world would be a much better place.
If you feel powerless and out of control, you could work toward change for the good of all instead of saying some people are out of control.
If you believe that everyone should control themselves, you are not acting as a good example with your generalized question.

Generally everybody wants to control or have power. Since the majority see whites as having the power in this country they are all seen as wanting to control everything.

Hey, I'm white, and about as opposite of George Dubya Bush as one could get. I think that Dubya thinks that he is King of the World, rather than just Pres. of the US.
He's not only telling non-white people how to live their lives, he's telling everybody regardless of race, color or creed how to live their lives.
He does seem to favor the rich (of which he is one), and wants the entire world to live by the Protestant religion. He is more power-hungry than any other president I have ever been aware of (and that goes back to Ike).

2) Control is perceived as power which is equated with survival .

what makes you think I want to control anything or anyone... besides myself or working for my family? don't you think I would be happier without all the suffering and strife in the world?
We should learn as you suggest. You can start by not seeing the world in terms of "white people" vs. others.
