We are 5 couples (50-60 years old) that go on a winter weekend get-away. Wondering what was available for entertainment in the Twin cities area from the middle of February to the middle of March.

A wonderful reference tool is the following website:

http://twincities.citysearch.com/

The site has information on everything from entertainment events and restaurants to hotels and shopping. The information is updated regularly and users are able to review the services listed so you can find out what events and businesses receive the highest ratings from customers. Citysearch.com provides information for many major cities throughout the U.S., so it's a great tool to use if you visit other major cities as well.

If you want to actually stay in and around downtown and you're interested in music or theatre, there are a lot of venues in Minneapolis. You could see what's playing when and time your weekend around that. This website keeps track of what's going on in the theater district: http://www.hennepintheatredistrict.org/date.asp?month=2&year=2007&CDate=2/10/2007
