vista only needs 16GB of free hard drive space so yea its enough to replace just take it out and put in a new one

Its enough for Vista. Vista requires atlest 15 gigs of empty Hard Drive space, and over 40 gigs overall. It also needs 1 gig RAM or more, and a 1 GHz (come on, everyone has more than that) or over processor speed. Also a DVD drive is required.

Dear Lord: If 160 gigs aren't big enough for Vista, I quit.
go to the Windows site and pull up Vista System Requirements
and find out exactly what's needed. Then compare that
to what you already have. You probably have plenty to
run Vista. It's not that much more than XP.

a 160 gig hard drive should be allright, when you installed Vista format it to ntfs

Its not the Hard drive that matters its the processors Mhz,, the FSB MHz, and ram that matters.

you can choose to replace it or add on...depend on you and your computer
if ur computer is enough cable ,then you can choose to add on...
