If you can Afford a psp get the Wii. It's alot of fun and you can step right into the next gen of game play.

do not get any one, mainly not a psp or ps3 (if u get the money) because both are a waste of ur money, especially a ps3.
okay. im gonna put it straight, and while i will tell you i favor the nintendo wii because its innovative and fun, and it has great 3rd party game support, and i think you should get that in my personal opinion. however, if you want a more traditional gaming experience, go with the xbox 360 over the ps3 anyway. so i say, if u want new fun, its the wii for you, if u want traditional gaming that is more indepth and looks shiny, xbox 360.
now handhelds- psp is big, clunky and way overpriced, its like buying a wii. it also has huge loading times and overpriced games and bad 3rd party support with no really great games. if u want a good handheld, the nintendo ds will not dissapoint, it is fun for everyone, and just like the wii, people may think the ds is for kids only, but its absolutly not, anyone can enjoy it, and it is reasonably priced
so overall, while the ps2 is an okay buy, i say go with a next gen system, but not the ps3, go with a wii or a 360 (while i personally say wii) and definatly not a psp (get a ds)

If you want a PS3, why not just save your money. I mean, if you don't buy the PSP and the PS2, you're more than halfway to getting the 60 gb PS3. I don't know how long it look you to save that much, but if you saved that much in a short amount of time, might as well save your money and get the PS3.
To be honest with you, neither option is all that good. The PS2 will probably be around for another 2 years or so, but there's not going to be a lot of new games for it.

It depends what u like. for example if u like to listen to music and play games, u should get the psp. I chose it over ps2 and it's worth it! I strongly recommend the psp.

Easy, would you rather play on a big tv, and be limited to one room.
Or, would you rather be able to walk around, and play anywhere, but be limited with a small screan, and not as many games.
I would personally go with a ps2, because the variety of games are a lot better.

I will get a PS2 because there are much more PS2 games out there than PSP games.

buy PSP if u want it to be portable..but ps2 if you want to play at home
