IF i use an oil immersion lense. will it increase the magnification capability of a microscope?

Yes it will, but you must be using high magnifications to see any results.

yes it does help but only when u have the microscope on objective 100x you will have a clearer view also...i just learned that a few days ago in microbiology! hope it helps
