I can find the forecast for my zip, but I can't find the precipitation level for the day. Help!

accuweather.com and put your zip code in and you'll see how much rained in that certain day

Go to www.noaa.gov and find the box for weather in your city. Put in the city and state. When the forcast comes up, scroll down so you can see the radar image and click on it. When the radar image comes up, you will see a list of options on the left which include storm total and one hour total and you can get an estimate for your area on the map from the color.
Other links from the first page you see will show you detailed rainfall, etc., for the days before today and today, but that will only be for the official recording stations.

Hey I live in Glendale (91205) so I'm not too far from you. I hate this rain! Unfortunately, most weather forecasters are saying it will rain until Friday..... next week should be really nice again! Don't worry, this is probably the worst weather we'll see here in So Cal ;)

The best you could get is an estimate based on radar. You can get that from the local National Weather Service office.
