Well first, we need to help the homeless and needy. When I visited New York City last month, I was stunned. I heard stories about stuff like this, but never imagined the serverity. People who were poor had to sell stuff, that would NEVER get bought. Like dead roses, some people just came up and asked for a few bucks. Many people were on the streets sleeping. They slept on the stairs of buildings, and had little warmth. To think that over 100people die everyday because of homelessness. The U.S Government needs to take care of this NOW.

Be kind to each other, and especially to people from other countries.
If every person was nice and pleasant to others, then maybe we could begin to communicate better, which would lead to understanding, and acceptance of each other as Americans first, and all of the other stuff- Color, religion, sexual orientation, would not be as important. If we are nice to people from other countries, whether on our soil or theirs, then maybe they will see that the people of America are not the same as the government, and that we are PEOPLE and not just a big blob of governmental rhetoric.

sit down and spend 30 minutes a day actually looking at what YOUR REPRESENTATIVES are doing, both on the state level and national level (heck even the local level)...
so many people just seem to vote on what they SAY and not what they DO... and that's a big reason we are where we are politically...
be the watchdog of the congress and presidency... and vote to make sure they know you're watching... maybe even send a letter or two...
