The Road Not Taken by Robert Frost is pretty cool,
Another great one by Frost is the Fire and Ice.
I think The Raven by Poe is really inspirational too.

My favorite poem is Jabberwocky, by Lewis Carroll.
It is just so wonderful, so insane, total nonsense, and still fun.
Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble among the wabe
All mimsy were the borogoves
And the mome raths outgrabe.
"Beware the Jabberwock, my son!
The jaws that bite! The claws that catch!
Beware the Jubjub bird and shun
The frumious bandersnatch!"
I won't write the whole thing here, but you get the drift.
It's totally understandable, after you read it a few times.

"Nothing Gold Can Stay" By Robert Frost
Nature's first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leafs a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.
My second is "The Road Not Taken" , again by Robert Frost. What can I say, he's pretty darn good.

Two and two
are merely four .
And often less
and never more .
And I for all the worlds advance
an upright mammal wearing pants .
I dont know who wrote this . But I love its deprecating and humorous qualities .

****Ithaka***by C.P. Cavafy
Extremely inspirational, read at Jackie Kennedy's funeral and I hope at mine. However I found no value in the rest of this turn of the 20th century poet's works. Makes me wonder if he actually wrote it.
