How do I display various math symbols on here?

i saw people using square root signs, powers and various maths signs. Is there a site that tells me what I need to type? does anyone know any shortcuts?

im not sure but if you go to microsoft word.insert.simbols.you may be abel to copy and paste a symbol from there. if not ...sry.

I tried to insert Math symbols above. The result is that!

Did you try LaTeX formatting codes?
