I let "the one" go. He was horrible to me. I thought he was going to be THEE ONE, ya know, but he turned out to be an a*sshole so I dumped him. Hes now beating himself up for letting me get away and for the way he treated me. He's tried to get me back, and realized I'm done with him and now he's still acting like a jerk off. So, i cant say I miss the one who got away, because I haven't experienced that yet. But I can say that my ex is missing the one that got away =] Not trying to sound conceited, just saying the truth.

Oh, yeah, I really do miss feeling cheated on, lied to, and unhappy! He got away because I let him go.

A year after, I met my now husband of over 30 years. So if you throw one back, there's a better "catch" just waiting for you ...

Sure I thinks its just human nature. I call it the "what if" game... What if we got married, what if we had kids, is he really a doctor? Lucky for me I have a super great husband and life, so I don't have much to miss. You ask good questions BTW.

I always have. I had a miscarriage several years ago. I always wonder about that child all the time. I also wonder how much better my life would have been if I had married my college sweetheart. Mostly I try to look ahead. That's what keeps you sane!

not so much as miss him...but we were together for three years but was too young and too immature at the time to really be in a serious realtionship......that that i'm 10 years older and that i have been with my husband now for 7 years ...i think ...thank god he and i broke up!! because now i really know what it means when i say "i love you" but there are times when i wonder what he is doing? hoping that his life turned out ok and that he is as happy as i am.
