It's just an open verse poem.
There are many changes in rhythm and rhyme scheme. There is no one method she uses in that certain peom.

i understand that this would not answer your question, yet right it fairly is a reality approximately Dickinson's poetry---all of her poems may well be sung to the music of "The Yellow Rose of Texas". attempt it!

Aww crap. I should know this. I'm singing a song with that as lyrics in choir... damn. I think it was a ballad. Don't take my word for it.
