do you use them to make your page brighter so you will focus and actually do your reading?

you know the idea is to highlight the main ideas but i highlight so much that maybe i should just highlight the unimportant stuff and pay attention to the rest

I always thought ALL the words were worth highlighting, so I stopped using the highlighter.

If I use them it is so I can remember where a sentence is that I might want to look at later. Or if there are some key points I need to study.

I just liked the bright pretty colors. All my notes looke like coloring boks.
