False it took the US a lot longer then that to defeat communism. There are no fast food, good time, microwave quickly answers to terrorism.
Giving up and giving them a free hand will not work.

Seriously? Terrorism will most certainly be a threat to global security for at least the next twenty-five years. The United States can not end global terrorism, as terrorism is neither a country that can be defeated nor a people that can be tamed, but and ideal that will continue on in all parts of the world. The things people see on TV shows like 24 are not as far-fetched as some may think; chemical, biological and eventually nuclear weapons will find their way into terrorists hands and will be used against nations around the world. There are also many states that support terrorism, especially in the Middle East, most notably Syria (alleged) and Iran (also alleged). These nations will help terrorist organizations achieve their twisted goals and just make it that much harder for the United States and its allies to stop them.

False.
Terrorism is ALWAYS a threat. It may not be a threat in the way we are seeing it right now, but terrorism has been around since the beginning of time - it has just taken different forms.
And I really don't see us doing anything to stop terrorism. All we are doing is invading a country. If we were truly out to stop terrorism, we would be all over the world hitting all of the "cells". Anyone that thinks that all of the terrorists are in Iraq is very wrong. The #1 country to harbor terrorists is Saudi Arabia - why aren't we going in there to take care of things? O. I. L. That is why.

as long as you have freedom, you will always have crazies out there that are willing to do the things that we call terrorism; and not just willing to do it, but feel the need to do it and feel justified in their actions.
if you want freedom, we'll just have to find a way to communicate better with everyone on the planet, and rise above cultural and religious arrogance. if that can not happen the only way to get rid of terrorism, is to declare war on freedom along with it, so every human act can be subject to control. then, and only then, will terrorism, no longer be a threat.

there are too many factors for this to be a true/ false question. if we continue to bring pressure to terrorist and if the UN would actually have teeth and equitable judgement on countries that support terrorism in all it's forms it is possible. however, my fear is we will elect a president who doesn't believe in the fight against terrorism and that we don't have a vested interest in seeing that terrorism is repelled to the point that we don't crush their will to fight. this is a serious problem and i don't think the majority of us will have the courage to continue to press the fight.

right here is what i think of could ensue: some style of disaster will upward thrust up. they're going to grant a answer to fixing the priority. they are going to be quite intelligent and deceptive. they're answer to this threat will make each and every physique settle for the NAU and NAU identity card and then at last international government. they're going to tell the human beings that there is not any opposite direction we are able to respond to this threat, we would desire to offer up a number of our liberties and type international government to try against any destiny assaults otherwise we are doomed! optimistically human beings do no longer fall for it!

False the only reason it is a threat is because of us. No that isn't true but we haven't helped matters any way. In fact one might argue quite effectively that our actions have definitely worsened the situation.

False.
Unless the whole world goes Orwellian and we are constantly monitored by a highly efficient artificially intelligent network... just imagine the nightmare that would be... assassination would no longer involve bloodshed... you would see more character assassinations and falsified evidence that was able to be created due to the advances in editing and bio technology.

false... because we don't care about non-Muslim terrorists...
are you really going to go into Northern Ireland if the IRA starts acting up again?
are you going into Africa to stop the constant rise and fall of many different terrorist groups?
or even the rise and fall of terror groups in South America?
of course not... unless they attack the U.S... you don't care if they are attacking Bogota or Mogadishu... as long as they aren't hitting the embassies...
I even doubt we're going into the West Bank to get Hamas or into Lebanon to get Hezbollah... or into Chechnya to get those terrorists... and they are Muslim even...
