Sure it's okay - you are a little above average in height, actually.
Don't worry if someone is heaps taller than you - people grow at different paces, and we can't all be the same height. I bet there are some that are shorter than you as well, right?

perfect height for your age! Males don't actually stop growing in height untill early 20's. Females stop around freshmen year. You will have another growth spurt beleive me. I am a mom. Does not make me an authority but I still have some rank lol. Eat good!!! that is so important. Especially the things you probably dont like, like spinache. :)

Girls stop growing in height much earlier than boys because of the hormone estrogen. Estrogen causes the growth plates to close and bone growth (height) stops. For males, they can continue to grow sometimes into their late teens and early 20s. Height is determined by genetics, look at your parents, are they tall? If they are, then you will catch up.

HI Kyle...Your height is fine. Your actually on the tall side. My daughter is also 5'6 and 13. Everyone always says that she is extremely tall for her age. All of her friends, boys and girls, are all so short next to her. So consider yourself lucky! Your going to be nice and tall!! And your not done growing yet!

Not to worry. You may grow more or not. I was about 5'7" in 7th grade and added 4 more inches by 10th. In later years, I started growing sideways and seemed to lose 1/2 inch in height. Happens.

It's fine don't worry about it. I have a girl-friend who's 5'8 and she's fourteen. There is no normal or abnormal height. It's all genetic so don't worry about it.
