I mean, I can afford a Wii, I have 500, but my mom says I should save my money for like college expenses, but she wouldn't object to me spending a little. I like my PS3, but there are some games I still want for the Wii. I think I may wait, but I won't some opinions.

But I like smash bros. and Zelda, and Metroid Prime, and Solid snake? My parents might be willing to get one for me, if I ever get straight A's this year. here's hoping.

First of all, the wii is fun, don't get me wrong, but don't waste your money on it if you have a ps3. i personally would have gotten a 360, but it's your choice. wii is interactive, and it's got just about the same graphics as a gamecube. nothing great about the wii except for its interactive with the controller. go out and play some tennis, it's the same thing, but you'll be getting more exercise for yourself without getting "wii shoulder." go out and enjoy yourself if you want to move around a lil, don't get a wii as an excuse. save your moolah, get a sound system in your car, save for a laptop, plenty of other things to spend your money on.

I would get the Wii if you can. Just be aware, its very hard to get, not joking. I am still trying to get one at Bestbuy.com. The gift cards that I have cover the majority of the price, so I will get it the first chance I can get. You have to be their as soon as the store opens up, and you have to take a chance of it not being their and it being a wasted trip to the store. Most stores don't know when their getting it, so its useless calling. 30 consoles would be gone within 10-15 min of the store opening up, so its very hard to get.

Wait a couple of years when there are a wider variety of games available for the system and it is reasonably priced. It's worth it to wait.
