I understand some people like to be curious or they like a little of both sides, but dont you think anyone who says they are bi either leans more towards gay or straight? i think everyone experiments with both genders, but they eventually will side with one sexuality or settle down with one partner. or maybe we are all capable of being bi, despite what sexuality we are.

Not only do I think it, I know it. I'm 50/50 bi. I didn't stop being bi when I committed to my wife; I just stopped looking for anyone else. I still get crushes on the UPS man and race car drivers; I loved my ex-boyfriends. What else do I call myself? Anything else would show a lack of respect to myself and my history.

I can say from experience, it is such a thing as being bi. To me there's a difference between experimenting/being curious and having serious relationships with both sexes. How much experimentation does it take to confirm and tell yourself that your either bi, gay or not? There a point where that curiosity is clearly bi or gay behavior and not just "having fun" or being curious. It seems like for a lot of people i know, being bi is a transition stage, more like preparation if they are gay. And a few of them do turn gay, but there are still some that switch happily between sexes. I do agree with you though that that most of us lean more to one side, favor one sex over the other. I know if i ever settled down with a husband that would not automatically mean that i have "gone straight". I would still be attracted to women, but at the same time in love and devoted to a man.

I would say that there is such thing,as far as sexually,if you can communicate sexually w/ both genders and enjoy yourself, and have no preference towards one side or the other, then you would be considered bi?!

I am bisexual. And I do tend to lean more towards gay because I'm more sexually attracted to women. But I'm married to a man because that's who I fell in love with. Some people think bisexuals are greedy or haven't made up their minds yet but in reality, a true bisexual just doesn't have gender boundaries. We tend to like people just for who they are and gender is irrelevant.

Just because someone leans a little doesn't nullify their bisexual card!
I'm bisexual, have had meaningful relationships with both males and females, but I do tend to lean more towards other females....but that doesn't make me fully lesbian. I actually do like men...just not right now while I'm in a committed loving relationship with my partner of ten years. I have no desire or feel like I'm missing anything. But who's to say that if anything would happen to our relationship that I wouldn't fall in love with a man next?
Either way, I'm not trying to be trendy, I'm not lying about my sexuality, I'm not greedy or indecisive. I know what attracts me and I'm not going to shut down on whole side of who I am to satisfy someone else's being uncomfortable about it!

I'm bisexual, and even though my life partner is also a female, we are not Lesbians. I've always been bisexual, and pretty well respond to both men and women the same way, however I have horrible taste in men. I did better with a woman.

The meaning of "bi" is that one doesn't prefer one side or the other. So, no, they don't "lean" to one or the other. Nor do I believe we're all "capable" of being "bi."

bi or not i guess we're all have been "experiencing" a bi curious thing. those who admit they're bi is much better than those who didn't know who or what they are. as long as we happy and comfortable with what we are, then i guess life's wonderful.

I think most people are bi.
People are born without a sexual preference, meaning they're open to everything.
Sexuality is a spectrum.
It's much easier to see in colour than black and white.

why would I doubt what people tell me. I'm gay..I don't say I'm bi..If they say that they are bi then I have no choice but to believe them--why would they lie?
