Well, lets see...

You could have a bearing going out. This would create an on/off squeal, to a constant squeal, depending on how deteriorated the bearing is. The bearing should be replaced, if this is the cause.

The fan (squirrel cage) could be rubbing against the housing. Some of these fans are simply press fit, others are bolted in place. If the fan has moved any at all, on its shaft, then the outer edges could be be rubbing against the frame... easy fix, really, simply press the fan back into position, or tighten the bolt.

As already mentioned... if your furnace has a belt, then the belt could be slipping... tho, this usually creates a noise at startup, and then quiets down. The belt dressing mentioned can be purchased at any auto parts store. It should be sprayed on the underside of the belt. This leaves the contact area of the belt with a tacky surface, helping it to grip better. I would caution that this is a temporary fix... eventually, you will need to tighten the belt.

Youve already ruled out the motor, so, youre in good shape there.

Good Luck!

Sounds like a belt is slipping. Go to the hardware store and get some belt dressing or you can replace the belt. Try the "dressing" first as it is the leat expensive and easier than taking the motor off and then back on to replace the belt .
