OKAY... I like an eighth grader i know nothing about. i want to ask him to the Valentines dance at my school. but how? I need adice from a guy point of view also...

If you were a little older... I would say just ask him flat out! This is the best way to handle the situation. when you get in college... ALWAYS JUST GO UP AND ASK NEVER BE AFRAID!!!!
but since your a little younger than that... try this.
Ask your friend to find out if he likes you. Ask someone your REALLY trust!!! Or you can ask one of his friends... a girl or trust worthy guy. If he digs you, go ahead and ask him to hang out after school or the mall... whatever!
Then you can scope out if he wants to go to the dance. You can either ask him to go or wimp out and ask him to meet you there. At least you will get to hang with him there.
If he says no or doesn't like you, ask another boy! Don't worry about it. It is only 8th grade and there are other cute boys to date!

Guys like bold women. They like women to take initiative cause that's whats expected from guys. Have some courage and walk up to him when he's not around his friends and just ask him. He'll respect you for that, believe me. Dont do it in front of his friends cause then he'd be acting like a punk just to impress his buds. I mean, he's in the 8th grade so he IS a boy.

im in eighth grade also...i would usually just ask the guy out but if ur to scared have someone find out if he likes u..but dont push it and have a million people trying to find out stuff.. ask him and if he says no then get over it and ask another guy :)

Most of guys dont like to dance...best just to hang out and see if you could be just friends for now

Just go ask him, the worst that can happen is he says no. That's ok go ask someone else, some guy is bound to say yes.
