The first thing that comes to my mind is diary writing. yes, then, I am writing history. I always imagine my children and grandchildren reading my life experiences. Like those diary books from girls who idk, was on the titanic or migrated from ireland or something. I love those books. Lots of interesting stories. History is much much more than a bunch of facts in a textbook.
