I'm guessing "lmao" means "let's make our own" funny commercial. Perhaps by adding a closing line to the dating commercial you're referring to would be a good idea.
As you described, the date comes out and says to the girl, "Let's talk about something fun, how about magic?"
How about we add the following line to end it on an even funnier note:
The girl would say, "Forget about talking, I feel the magic already!"
