No, I cannot sleep as sound hits my ears; I'm a light sleeper too.

I am a light sleeper too. Comes from all those years of checking on my kids while they are sleeping and stirring at the least little noise they make.

I get annoyed by repetitive sounds like the dripping of a tap or something. I I sleep right through a cat fight in the next yard. Go figure.

No, I can't get to sleep if there is any noise - and my house has extremely thin walls and extremely inconsiderate occupants so I am a little deprived at the moment : (

I could sleep through the alarm.... good thing my husband wakes me up. Although, some times, I can hear a little noise, something different, and I'd wake up.

Most likely. My mom and I once rented a house right by some train tracks and every night at 12am the train would blow it's whistle thingy right by our window. My mom always asked me how i slept through it. I have also slept thru tropical storms.
