There are many institutes like T.I.M.E, IMS, Erudite. Thing is all of them are same and don't have much difference in the way they conduct their courses, so choose which is suitable from you're house.

Books you should consider are Business Week, India Today and some Current Affairs yearly GK Book.Try reading Times of India which is the best as far as it is concerned and Economic Times for early preparation for you're GD/PI.

Start solving puzzles on the Newspapers and Internet, i tell you that will improve you're DI a lot, take out you're class 10/11 Maths book and doing some number systems, Trigonometry, Time and Work/Distance and some SI/PI.

In the end try thinking on you're toes now, basic thing that B-schools are looking for now is quick Decision Makers, so apply some concepts in real life.
So just Relax take any coaching and put you're heart into it. IIMs are not very far then you will see.

Best of Luck!

You can get some guide books for GMAT. after completing them you can buy some books specially for CAT. These steps can be sufficient to get calls for interviews.
If you insist on coaching institutes, I feel I teach well.
