i need to know for a school project. well about rosa parks, after what she did, is that what inspired martin luther king jr? did he start to do what he did after she did the bus seat thing? sry if im using the word "thing" a lot but i know and u probably already know what things they did in history and i just dont wanna type it all out. thanks and 10 points to be the best answer if you back up your answer with good reasoning.

This doesn't directly answer your question but are interesting side notes to history.

First, Rosa Parks was part of an NAACP strategy to bring this issue to the forefront. 2 other women, prior to Mrs. Parks, had done the same thing. But their actions were not publicized because they were considered too young and attractive. Mrs. P was the perfect candidate.

Second, in the later 70s, Mrs. P was abandoned by the NAACP, all civil rights organizations, all activist churches. Her usefulness had ended. Life magazine found her living in squalor and poverty and did a big spread. There were a lot of red faces and there was scurry to get her moved to a decent home, with plenty of food and clothes.
