My last period started on the ninth and ended on the thirteenth, i know its possible to conceive at any time during your cycle but what are odds of concieving on the 21st? And when have i waited long enough for an EPT? I'm incredibly nervous and i dont know if i could stand doin this test more times than i have to! I'd appreciate your help if you have any idea.

Yes you can fall pregnant any time of your cycle but the ideal time is 2 weeks after the first day of your period. You are best to wait to do a EPT the day after your missed period. Go to www.mymonthlycycle.com. There is a heap of infor on this site and it will tell you exactly when your best time is.

Good Luck

You cant conceive anytime during your cycle. It is normally peaking 13-16 days from the day your period started. Depending on how many days there are btwn your first day of your periods... it can be anytime around there. Depending on which EPT you buy you can test up to 2 days before your period should start. However!!!!! Wait 5 days - you cant get a false positive but you can get a false negative. Many women also naturally miscarry before they would even test for pregnancy anyways (hence why some people think they get a false positive). And dont expect to get preg. the first month - it can take awhile. Search on the web-- they have ovulation calenders that can help you pinpoint your feritle times. GOOD LUCK!

Ovulation occurs 10 to 16 days after the first day of your period, the date you stated, the 21st, was 12 days after the first day of your period on the 9th, so conception could have occured, but it doesn't necessarily mean that it did. They have pregnancy tests now that can detect pregnancy before missing your period. If you're that nervous and concerned go ahead and take the test.

If you only did it once, your chances of being pregnant in my opinon are slim.

If you are actually trying then go to www.babycenter.com and it will explain to you about when you are fertile and ovulating and will even calculate these dates for you. Very handy.
However, if you do not want to be pregnant. Chill, don't panic and wait until your period is late. It's very easy to get a false answer on your test if you do it too early.
