should i get my ears pierced? i'm in my teens and never really gave seriuse thought about it up to now. my friend thinks i should but i don't think i like how they look or if i have a reason to stop not haveing pierced ears. i also could see my self looking good with them. what do you think and why?

Once you pierce a part of the body like the ears it is a good probability that they will never grow over.
I liken this issue to having tattoos. Personally I have two of them. They are well done and frankly I do not notice them much anymore. But if I had to do it over again I would not have had them done. Its kind of like having to wear the same clothes over and over again for the rest of your life.
If you are smart you will stay away from making choices that have permanent consequences. When we are young we make dumb decisions because we do not have the life experiences to let us know any better. This is where we need to do as you are doing, to ask advice and to learn inductively, which we sense which advice is correct via our intuition.
This is not the end of the world if you chose to do so. But it is training for the many decisions you will have to make in the future. I encourage you to love your body for what it is naturally. You do not need anything to be more beautiful than you already are.
If you must have earring get clip ons or magnetic earrings. Anything thing else is just bravado. Best wishes on this timely decision.

If you're not enthusiastic, don't bother. You have to care for the ears and leave the earrings nonstop for the first few weeks, and for about a year you have to keep them in most of the time or they will close up. After that they should stay open; I didn't wear earrings for 10 years and they were still open.
The point is, if you don't want them that much, they are not worth the trouble. You might give up and let them close anyway.
Either way, it's not a very big deal.

I think you should follow your heart. If you are not sure, do not get it done. The clip earrings do hurt after a little while, so try the magnetic or sticky ones.
Do not even try them if you do not want to wear any earrings.
Earrings are fun to wear and can add a lot to an outfit or make any kind of statement you want. You can even make your own if you want, I do!
You need to do what you want to and not be forced into anything by anyone, even your friends.

I Think u should get Them pierced because it is so cute and after u get Them u will love them trust me, but it is all up to u if u th8ink u should not do it then don't do it
don't get magnetic or clip ones they hurt ears and if were them all the time will put hole in ear

I like pierced ears. However, I do not think you should do this based on your friends ideas or opinions. You should give this some serious consideration before going through with it. Once you pierce your ears, chances are it will be done for life. Good luck and God bless****

Everyone has pierced ears, including myself. Earrings can be the perfect accent to certan outfits, but then you're also very unique if you don't have your ears pierced plus there are always clip-ons. If you suvived this long without having the desperate desire of getting your ears pierced than I wouldn't do it. And if you end up doing it, then deciding you don't like it .. take em' out and let your ears heal up. It's up to you if you want to take the small amount of pain to try them out.

I think you should go through with it.
There is just so many cute earrings out there that you're missing out on. Plus, it comes in handy to balance you out if your outfit doesn't call for a necklace. You can just pop on some stunning earrings and that could help balance off the top half.
Just make sure the place you get it done is clean. Also, make sure you leave the studs in for the recommended time.

Get your ears pierced because:
1. The best looking earrings are for pierced ears.
2. Clip earrings hurt.
3. And, if you don't want your ears pierced any longer, the hole will close if you don't wear any jewelry, so no harm done.

No, you only have to keep the earrings in for 30 days. My sister just got hers pierced. Earrings are cute, try them...

ok just think of it this way. there are earrings that are small and wont get attention and those could b just for keeping the hole open. but then when u go out and u want something more u can always wear something that gets more attention. :D
