Personally, it has always been my belief that only the bride should be wearing white at the wedding, one would never want to outshine the bride. God bless****

The old saying that the guests should not out shine the bride is true. Have you seen the movie Monster-in Law? Jane Fondas character wears this really out there white dress at first when JLos character is in her wedding gown. I don't think there is anything wrong with pairing the Ivory dress with a darker or brighter colored wrap though. That could look really good and still have the simplicity of the ivory dress. Silver is a good accent color as well.

I'd stay away from anything that could be construed as white at a wedding. The bride will be emotional anyway and you don't want to do anything to set her off. Watch Bride-zillas!!!

NAww...sorry to say, I think the ivory is a no-no. If I was in the brides position I would want to be the only one in that colour. It would be polite to give her her moment.
TAke care and enjoy the ceremony...

if you are absolutely adamant about wearing the ivory dress pair it with a bright colored wrap, like royal blue, red, basically a color that pops...and wear colored shoes that go with the wrap, add a silver clutch and youre good...
