I'm planning to get my nails done, but don't know which one to choose. I don't bite my fingernails, so they are usually long by themselfs. I also want a natural look.

Definitely Gel!!!!!!! I'm a Beauty Therapist and would never recommend Acrylic to anyone- unless you have thick and coarse nails which can withstand the damage. Make sure you go to a nail technician who uses Bio Sculpture Gel- It is the only Gel that does not contain traces of acrylic products. If you go to a good nail tech the Bio Gel will look just like a manicure. Because your nails are already long you will only need overlays done ( gel over your natural nails without length added) . For a natural look you can have the French Pink gel alone or have the #1 Gel on the tips with the French Pink or #2 over the whole nail.

Please do not go to one of the cheap nail places. Go to a quality place that uses name brand products. You can go to creativenaildesign.com and find a salon near your place. Depending on what you are wanting for your nails dapends on what they will do. A good nail tech will explain both to you and help which would be best for you. If you have healthy nails and just want more shine and a little strength I would do gel, but if you want alot more strength and a natural look I would go with acrylic. Please don't let them use a drill on your nails, it's not good, it does way too much damage to your nails. Good luck !!

def gel nails then it doesnt hurt the nail as badly as acrylic would..i get my nails done and i get acrylic all the time cuz its cheaper and also i bit my nails..but long nails look good under gel nails looks alot more natural..but its ur choice.
