I know if you ? gets removed you get a penalty of like -10 points.. but what about those people who report randomly for no reason, should they be penalized for wasting yahoo's time?

I think so. I know I've been reported for no reason before- it would be nice of people like that would lose points, then maybe they would think twice before doing it.

After reading todays blog entry at yahoo answers, thumbs down are against the numbers and you lose points- I said this before as well, I didn't even know this!- You may want to read it if you're interested. Hope this helps- and besides, too many reports are suspicious to begin with and a flag goes on your account.

well i believe that there are alot of people that report "randomly" or just "looking for sumthing 2 do" i really think you should be penalized for sumthing you know you did wrong but.......there's also the matter of well.... how do peaople know you false reported sumthing uless they can prove it??? and if the do penalize you i think 10 is a lil high just in case your not false reporting.

They should lose points for making false reports. But certain yahoo guidelines are not very clear.
