i am 6 weeks preg now i tried telling my hubby tht i'm pregnant but he thinks tht i'm bluffing and he is afraid tht he cant afford for another baby. at the moment we have 1 son who is almost 2 years old i really wan this baby but how do i make him understand tht it is tru tht i'm preg n we really shud keep the baby.

Send him flowers and a card at work. in the card, include a copy of the ultrasound and write something like....
Dear Daddy-
I can't wait to meet you! Mommy has said such great things about you and brother says you are a lot of fun. Mommy is taking great care of me, so dont worry. I wish we could play now, but mommy says not yet. See you in about 8 months, I'm looking forward to it!

OR...
Take a home pregnancy test, put it in a watch box and wrap it and give it to him like a gift.
OR...
Put a t-shirt on your son that says "I'm going to be a big brother!"

Hey I have an 11year old and a 6 month old..When my son was 4 1/2 months I found out I was pregnant again.(.Currently 13 1/2 weeks) I was scared about having another so soon and being able to afford it..But I was scared to tell hubby and come to find about he didn`t react they way I was thinking he might...So go buy another test and take it when he is there..or go to the doctor and get them to give you a paper stating you are indeed pregnant!!! Show him test results. And bring him with you to doctors office. That may convince him. If not wait until the ultrasound and show him the pic of your baby. Both me and hubby had trouble believing I was preggo even after 3 test. He was convinced after but it took me a urine test at doctors, a blood test and an ultrasound to actually realize I was preggo and it was real.
13 weeks and 3 days pregnant.

well ur son is 2 so i dont think there should be a problem now when god has gifted u with another one u cannot go against him and now that we keep the baby aftyer this one we ll take special precautions so that we do not get into such situation again

Just tell him, hes going to find out eventually. Besides if he loves you and your son, just convince him that its going to be another great adventure! He sounds like a good person, just worried that he may not be able to give you the life that he wants to give you. Convince him that this is what you want

If he doesn't believe you, wait until he sees the ultra sound, you need to tell him one more child really doesn't make a difference in the budget, not at a young age anyway. There's always room.
Maybe it'll be a girl, daddy's little girl.

Pee on a stick and show it to him! LOL. Since when can people actually afford a baby??? There really is no right time. You need to sit down with him and tell him how you feel.

Everybody here is saying show him the stick ...this actually grossed my husband out!
If you want to do it with any consideration - dont hand him something you just peed on. (a tip straight from my husband sitting next to me!)
Just schedule your first OB appt, and tell him to meet you there - he'll believe the doctor.

Just tell him.He is your husband.You are both adults and if you do not want children you should take precautions.It should be a mutual decision if you should have another child.He may feel betrayed.
