Yep i totally agree with it,, we don't really have any idea about how important somethings are to us, till its gone, and its to late,,then we wish we had made more of an effort and appreciate that something,,
so its always best to think about what you have and be grateful for it all,and never take anything for granted because we cant say what will happen..
live with no regrets :)

i agree with the saying because at the time when you're in a situation or in a relationship we tend to take things for granted and they're part of every day life .so when they change or we lose them that's when we realise naturally what we had till its gone

Yes
You never realise your dependence on something until it has been taken from you and you have to manage without it.
But if you've lostsomething before, and found a replacement, then you will appreciate it fully.
It works for people too

Being basicly a honest person I would wholeheartedly agree with you, but if at all possible, I would do my utmost never to let anything that is precious to me go without a struggle and I would never ever give up trying to retain it or recover it if at all possible. I hope this answers your question.

you have to appreciate things people around you ... if you dont, there will come a time that youd lose those...somestimes when you go overboard, God up there will let you learn something..that is by getting someone or something you SHOULD suppose to appreciate but NOT! so learn to love everyone, everything around you before you regret of losing without showing how appreciative you are...

I think when young this statement is true, but as you get older you learn the true value of things around you, when that happens the saying doesn't apply anymore.

No - because nothing lasts forever, you grow, you change- what great today is jaded and tired tomorrow. But when you got a good thing love it intensely.

Yes, I'm sure
There's an other version though
you keep something long enough and don't need it, but
as soon as you through it away, you,re gonna need it.
