People act selfishly (which is generally what is bad) because it is in their interest. Of course if everybody was selfish we would be extinct. So ther is a balance. But nobody believes he or she is bad. They always have a justification for their misdeeds, no matter how illogical.

For variety. If you acted good all the time, what fun would that be? A little bad balances the good. It gives variety, spice, and pattern to an othwise dull existence.
Remember, it's just an act. They really don't mean it. They are just following the electronic digital voices and the preordained script. The voices, the voices.

I think it is because people have made "bad" the in thing. So, to fit in people act that way. I, personally think it is really stupid. It is very immature, and shows low intelligence.

Usually because they have been treated badly and feel unloved, a lot of hate and violence comes from that. It can partly be genetic too but bad actions can be averted with love and a good upbringing.

Either one of these or a combination of them:
1) They get high off it
2) It gives them attention
3) It releases anger
4) For vengeance
5) Money
6) Drugs
7) Sex
8)They do it out of religious conviction (so in ignorance)

Insecure comes to mind real fast.
If being bad was the only time they ever got attention .
Then perhaps that is why .

well some people like me have had dramatic events which mold them and they believe they are bad for some reason or another

Depends on their culture, background, and life style. Also, hydgen, brain problems, problems with life, and their buget.
World is filed with them, go figure.
