When I stepped off the plane in dubai July 2004, It was hot and it was humid, but i have noticed that the type of heat was different compared to say e.g. Britain and the heat felt kinda weird, and the humidity felt as if water has been sprayed into air. Can someone explain to me in detail what this type of heat is and whats happening?
