Depends on where you live. Back in Phoenix, they had drag pagents all of the time. And in Cleveland, they had Miss Gay Cleveland, the winner of that moving on the Miss Gay Ohio, which was a pretty big show.
Ask at the local gay bars.

I would suggest checkin out the gay bars in your area and maybe they have contests. I have never been yet,but I bet it would be soooo fun!!
