Hi,

A work collegue who has been a great friend to me has recently had a still born son.

The funeral is in a couple of days and I'm going to go, I owe this wonderful woman so much.

The thing is, I just don't know what to say. I'm sorry just doesn't seem appropriate.

Any suggestions would be welcome.

Thanks.

I recently had a miscarriage and the only thing that anyone could say that made me feel any better was "I'm here for you."
It will let her know that you are there to support her without making her think about the pain that she is feeling.

My heart goes out to her.

i understand 100% when you say "I'm sorry" isnt enough, but thats about all you can say... she will need a shoulder to cry on and a friend, and that is You...
