A hard drive you can get a external hard drive.. Or a flash drive, (usb sold at walmart)..
For the Ram, there may be a place on the bottom of the laptop you can open up and install more ram...
You can try this site..
http://www.crucial.com/systemscanner/
It will tell you the kind of ram you have, and if theres a empty slot for possible upgrade..
Its totally safe there trying to sell there ram....
Its rather easy if you ask me,, Just plug and play providing you have the right kind of ram..
As for the hard drive, most laptops have the hard drive accessable on the bottom of the laptop. check your laptop brand and model to see if there is a bigger one you can get,,, Or like I said get a second external drive and use the external to store your extra files, and only keep what you need on the laptop on the laptop..

Yes , below the laptop there is 2 little boxes (1 for RAM and 1 for HD )with screws. There is a extra slot for you to upgrade for RAM and will have to see the specs on your laptop and the MAX it can go ( no matter how much you put in ). For HD you can buy a external hard drive or internal which you have to reformat your computer because you have to replace it. Whichever suit you. If cost more better buy a new one.

RAM would be easy - most laptops just have a cover on the back for memory upgrades.
Hard drives on a laptop are a different story. They are not as easy as a desktop. Without the proper tools - I would not advise you to change the hard drive in a laptop.

first of all, do not set up XP ON THAT device. there is fairly no evaluate doing so, it is going to in basic terms make the pc run slower than molasses in wintertime. in case you prefer a greater moderen OS on that device, set up living house windows 2000 professional. it incredibly is incredibly the same element as XP, yet makes use of a fragment of the components. changing the not undemanding rigidity may be merely a dash a challenge, as that pc might use between the older, thicker 2.5" not undemanding drives. you may could hunt on ebay to locate one that could greater healthful properly. or you may could rig it to maintain the rigidity safeguard. same element with the memory, you may could purchase it off ebay reason you will in all threat not locate any at a retail shop.
