Actually factorize (x^2-5x-14) and express it in terms of (x-7)

(x^2-5x-14) can be factorized as (x-7)(x+2)

So your expression can be written as

10/{(x-7)(x+2)} + 2/{(x-7)}

Now taking LCM(Least common Multiple) of the expression to make the denominators equal we obtain...

10+2(x+2)
----------
(x-7)(x+2)

10+2x+4
----------
(x-7)(x+2)

2x+14
----------
(x-7)(x+2)

2(x+7)
-----------
(x-7)(x+2)

Hope you got this.
