The Egyptian Cinderella by Shirley Climo
The Glass Slipper by Eleanor & Herbert Farjeon
Yeh-Shen by Ai-Ling Louie
All of these are Cinderella stories but they are international. I have a longer list of great stories as well if these don't help!

One is Smoky Mountain Rose: An Appalachian Cinderella by Alan Schroeder.
Ella Enchanted is by Gail Carson Levine, a very good book, I highly recommend it.
