4p² - 44p +121= 0
Factoring:
(2p - 11)(2p + 11) = 0

d = b² - 4ac

4 p^2 + 121 = 44p
4 p^2 - 44p + 121 = 0

the only things that multiply together to make 21 are 11x11, and since the middle term is negative and the last term is positive then both factors have to be negative inside the parentheses
so your answer will be (#x - 11) * (#x - 11)
now the 4 from 4p^2 could be made by 4x1 or 2x2, so let's try 4x1
(4x-11)(1x-11) = 4x^2 - 55x + 121
so that's not right. let's try the other one.
(2x - 11)(2x - 11) = 4x^2 - 44x +121
so that is how we do it! look for factors that will make the last term (the one with no x) and the first term (the x^2) and play with them until they make the right equation
soon you will learn a new way in your math class called the quadratic equation which gets rid of all of the guessing.

now to get the answer

2x - 11 = 0 or 2x - 11 = 0 but these are the same thing!
so 2x - 11 = 0
2x = 11
x = 11/5 or 5.5

Start by putting the equation into standard form.
4p^2-44p+121
We are working with a negative 2nd term and a positive 1st and 3rd term so I know that the factors of each will both be either positive or both be negative.
I then find the factors of 121 and the factors of 4
1, 121 and 1,4
11,11 and 2,2
I saw that 2x11 is 22 and there are 2 of them so when added together you get 44.

So either you have
(-2p+11)^2 or (2p-11)^2
Either way you have p=5.5

I hope this helps

4p^2 + 121 = 44p
4p^2 - 44p + 121 = 0
(2p - 11)^2 = 0

ANS : (11/2) or 5.5

4p^2+121=44p
Subtract 44p from both sides.
4p^2-44p+121=0
Use the quadratic formula, and you get.
p=5.5
