It doesn't take a genius, unless you're a liberal genius (IQ 30) to figure this out. If it took 8 years from the '93 bombings of the WTC to the '01 attack, and those years Clintoon was president... who bares the blame? Clintoon...

Clinton emboldened Al Quayda by failing to retaliate for the SS Cole attack despite his vows to do so. Bush deterred terrorism by routing the Taliban who were hosting Al Quayda in Afghanistan. Weakness invites attack. This is where the left has it so wrong and doesn't learn from history. You can't stop tyranny through negotiation. Never worked, never will.

And it takes a genius to:

1. Lay the blame at the feet of one man
2. Rehash a question that has been asked/stated so many times that it has marks where the jockey has hit it
3. Ask a question that they have already formulated an answer for - no matter what anyone says
4. Insults someone that has a differing opinion without any other basis or fact

So. . . Report me if you wish. Don't care.

By the way - your guy in for 9 months had all of the information that the guy before him that had been in 8 years. See, the Clinton administration left the Bush administration orders to watch Al Qaeda, as well as warned them of the eminent attack that was going to happen on US soil. So I think the administration too proud to take the advice of the other solely due to political viewpoints is to blame. . . The entire administration - not just ONE MAN.

Neither does. Im a Rep. Yes, I think Clinton wasnt decisive enough. But it are the terrorists who are to blame. That is the problem with this country. It is always Clintons fault, or Bushs fault. No NO NOOOOOOOO. If everyone would work together, we would be better off. This is nonsense. Instead of focusing on the terrorism and those who fund it, we bash each other. This is stupid. Come together, win Iraq, win Afghanistan, and make sure Iran doesnt have the capability to develop nuclear weapons. Instead, Dems hurt the war effort. and The Reps hurt the Dem agenda.

There is plenty of blame to go around. Just like the war in Iraq. There is plenty that can be blamed on both sides of the aisle. Now the problem is what is the solution that has the best outcome for the US and The American people? I am getting tired of the blame game. lets try the solution game.

Well you have already blamed Clinton for it so no matter what anybody says, you have him guilty. But the truth is Clinton is the scapegoat for everything that the Bush administration has done. And if you think for one minute that there wasn't a plan in place when Bush took office...I wonder who's IQ is 30.

I do find it interesting that there was proof of the attacks and nothing was done in either administration to stop it. So if there is blame to be placed it falls on both Presidents.

You bear the blame. You and those like you who demand solidarity on your terms. Liberals are willing to look at alternate viewpoints, and their counterparts are not conservatives, but jingos. Your hyperbolic demagoguery and schoolyard name calling identify you as the enemy of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. The military industrial complex is an oil junkie whose insatiable jonesing has divided this nation and you are one of a million tiny hammers driving the wedge deeper and deeper into the aching heart of America. The real problems are greed and fear, and they'd still be dragging us to a certain and painful death even if everybody in the world thought like you, Rush and Hannity. You right wing types ramble on and on about God and country, but I don't see your rhetoric in the writings of the church fathers and the country you seem to be heralding bears a chilling resemblance to one whose exploits are currently under revision by Robert Faurisson and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

While I don't think President Clinton led the country very well while in office, I don't think you can rest sole blame woth him. Terrorists are the most guilty in this act.

no one. not bush or clinton. they did not invite terrorist to bomb the WTC and pentagon. why are we blaming our own people when the enemy is clearly still at large? this is what the terrorist want, for us to fight and take advantage of us. united we stand.

Instead of trying to shift the blame to Clinton, why don't you come up with some constructive ideas on how Bush's successor can solve the problems that exist including the eroding of all our civil liberties due to Homeland Security being overzealous and all these new regs. that are supposedly to stop terrorists but, in fact, are taking away rights from everyday Americans?
