id like to think that im the one and only, but more often than not i end up banishing myself onto a self imposed, and self paved lonesome road (its a great sinatra song, btw).

but sometimes im also less morose, trust me :) in fact, at times i feel like im the only lucky one in the world.

i guess i am one who is conflicted

Unfortunately, it appears so.

I don't know how to answer this. I don't want to overanalyze but I have to.
Lately, I've felt like I'm a pathetic human being. I can't do anything right. While everyone around me seems to just get everything, I'm still struggling on the first step. I have a hard time understanding what everyone else finds to be so clear.
I'm always sitting in the back, hearing but not really listening.
My mind is on a million different things but mainly one person... He's etched into my mind and heart and I want to erase him. But I can't. He's just there. The memories... God, the memories kill me. Perhaps everything just seems perfect looking back, maybe things were always this complex or maybe they're simple and I'm overanalyzing every tidbit of information, every word, every look, every touch.

God, I'm just... so alone in my misery because I've created it.
I'm wallowing in my own self-pity.

I just feel so useless at everything at this present moment in time.

I feel like I'm the only one in the crowd that's not wearing the team's jersey or not sporting the same haircut or listening to the same song. Although we're all stuck together, I feel so far away.

Is this my turning point? Is this the time where i make decisions that will affect me for the rest of my life?
Do I let go of my inhibitions and do what feels so right but is naturally so wrong?

I hate myself.

I hate who I am, who I was, who I'm becoming...

I hate that I'm so angry at nothing but everything at the same time. I hate how I'm always the one chasing after people. At the end of the day, I'm walking alone. Nobody's following me. Nobody's shouting out my name. Nobody's pulling me back. Nobody's even watching me leave.

No. We are everywhere... You may feel like no one is watching, but are you sure? You may feel alone, But how do you know. Society has been fooled by our kind for years beyond years... We are what you want to be and yet know little to nothing about... Just look up. You will see what I'm talking about...

I'm not suprized I'm listening to Tim & Neil Finn singing Disembodied Voices right now.

In all seriosness, Yes. And let us all be thankfull that I am the only one. The beard is full and the moon will soon be. I'm going to go run with the wolves... They won't know the difference...

Yes and i dont like it very much. Its nice to be needed and important in the job that i do, but in reality its obstructing my personal life. I rarely can take a day off or can go on leave for a long period of time. So being the only one does have its price.

I am not certainly not the only one. There's me. Then there's my imaginary girlfriend. And her twin.

And my pretend good buddies, Adam, Hoss and Little Joe.

My current project is figuring out a way to replace my real boss with an imaginary one...then life will be so grand.

Certainly am. When you're the product of a neurotic and a drunk, it's probably a good thing.

Legend in my family says that my mother, having had about 20 hours of trying and then an emergency caesarian, called my grandmother, and when she arrived, handed me to her and said "Right, here's your grandchild. Make the most of him cos you're not getting another out of me!"

And then, apparently, came Monitorhead...

Hmm..

MIght have to have a word with her...
