No help to overcome your problem, BUT your body MAY be telling you something. Possibly you should not drink at all. I know I can't because my liver does not process the alcohol, and I get very ill. I do not drink and enjoy watching others making total asses of themselves while I drink soda and stay sober. Once you see how a drunk or drunks behave, you will wonder why you ever drank to begin with. Good luck.

It sounds as if you have developed an allergy to alcohol, in which case you will never be able to drink shots like you used to. Alcohol is like any other food we eat or drink, and we can develop allergies to them at any time. You probably have been borderline for some time, and the incident of over indulgence simply was the straw that broke things. If you continue to try, you will just make the reaction to the alcohol worse, eventually it can cause an anaphyllactic reaction and kill you. People do die from it, though it doesn't make the news as often. Usually it happens in conjunction with a "frat" party situation where somebody drinks way too much and their buddies think they are just drunk and passed out. The autopsy will reveal an underlying allergy to alcohol, and they have died from the allergic reaction. If you want this confirmed, an allergist can do a simply skin test for you in his office and you will have your answer in a short time. If you are truly allergic, you will need to avoid alcohol in all forms, not just the pleasant stuff of mixed drinks or shots- but also medications which are alcohol based, like cough syrups and cold remedies. While this isn't the news you were looking for I'm sure, on the bright side, you will never become an alcoholic because the alcohol would kill you before you could beome dependant on it.

do yourself a favour and dont bother going any further - like many previous posts have told you, your body doesnt want it, thats why it keeps on rejecting it.
It may not seem like it but you are in a fortune senario - my body didnt reject and wants more everytime I took a drink. It ended up destroying my life.
Luckily for me, I saw the light and stopped like the guy above. I couldnt picture my life at first without having a drink but boy, I am having the time of my life now!!
Take the suggestions given to you my friend...

Lucky you!!!!
Think of the money you will save and the health benefits.
Drinking alcohol is not compulsory and you now have the perfect excuse for idiots to try to persuade you to have just a little one. "Sorry - it makes me sick!"
If you could market something that would have that effect on people you would be a millionaire overnight!!!!

Buy a clue. Stop trying. Your body does not want it. Try something else.
