I love those "Evil Dead" movies, now there is a load of new movies that he's coming out with, including a few planned for 2008+

He's producing a whole bunch of movies, including 'The Evil Dead' remake but the only movie he has coming out that he's actually DIRECTING is 'Spiderman 3'. He has no other directing projects announced. I did read last year though that after Spiderman 3 he wanted to do a Part Four to Evil Dead and even considered calling it 'Army Of Darkness 2'... Either way, I hope so. As for the upcoming remake he's producing of Evil Dead, he stated he wanted a fresh younger director to change it up a bit for a new generation. Though it's slated for a 2008 release, Sam has yet to pick the director. Bruce Campbell is producing it with him though ;-)

He is great...and he has a new Evil Dead movie planned as well. Rumor is that Bruce Campbell isn't going to be in it, but I hope it is just a rumor.
Evil Dead wouldn't be the same without him.
