My girlfriend keeps asking me if I would let her use a strap-on with me. I don't know what to tell her. Has anyone ever experimented with this? What is it like?

The first question is are you into that?
And by "that" I mean penetration.

This is also known as pegging. I suggest you start with fingering and rimming, and you buy a bottle of lube. If she's not willing to do those beforehand, then pegging WILL hurt you. If she is willing to do those, some people find a lot of pleasure in it.
