Can someone help me understand? Aren't the same people who like to throw around stats about black violence

usually from the same race that enslaved MILLIONS of people for hundreds of years? They'd stack slaves up like sardines in their ships and throw them overboard if they were sick. WHITE people drove Native Americans to the West and decimated them. Before you say, "That was hundreds of years ago!" consider that segregation ended barely 40 years ago. It was not uncommon for people of color to be killed by whites.

So how can white people criticize ANYONE for being violent?!

You really don't get it. Firstly, it's not about whether the violence is acceptable. It's about the racists on Y!A who ask questions such as "Why are Black people so violent?" when THEY are violent too. It's hypocrisy. Their history is also built on violence.

Also, because Africans sold their people into slavery means it was OK for whites to buy them? Lastly, Native Americans haven't gotten over the past. You're mistaken. That's why alcoholism and suicide are still rampant - due to the effects of racism. Your schools are government funded and you almost never hear of a full blooded Native American, you've been nearly destroyed.

They criticize because they don't want to take the blame for anyone's past. They say "live in the present, do not blame us for our fathers' actions." And yet, they don't do anything that would improve people's lives so that they have to chance to make their lives better.
