i saved a document to my hard drive and now i need to upload it..

Hello monique t,

I'm not sure what you are uploading your document to. Some web sites have a system for uploading photos and stuff. You click on the upload button and then a dialog box comes up where you can find your document.

If it's text you can try "selecting all" the type Cntrl + A (Command + A on the Mac), Copy, Cntrl + C (Command + C on the Mac), and then Paste into the site's text field, Cntrl + V (Command + V on the Mac).

Otherwise you might need to use an FTP (file transfer protocol) program to send the file to a certain site. I'm sorry that I couldn't be more help. Best of luck.
