I read the news about the wife poisoned the marine for the life insurace. He was killed in 2002. But she was only arrested in the 2005. It took more than 3 years to arrest her. That seems like she almost get away with it. Is floride justice department that sucks ?

You can bet they figured it was her from the get go. You can also be assured they had her under surveillance for a long period of time. They basically allowed her to hang herself. The unusually spending habits wouldn't happen over night. It gave them 3 years to build an air tight case.

It's hard to say. Sometimes these cases take forever and a day to solve. They could be slow or they could have needed to build up more evidence or courts may be backlogged etc. I think it's terrible and am happy that justice has been served at least. They think they get away with it and years down it comes back to haunt them
