My attorney is filing that my residence be changed to the kid's primary residence. It looks like it will happen what does that involve compared to where I have joint physical custody but not primary residence now?

If you don't know why you are doing it - then why are you spending money on an attorney to have it done. Your attorney should explain this fully to you so you can make the decision about whether or not it is worth the price.

The custodial parent has the right of primary address only.

primary residence is where your kids are living- basicly, you should have the kids living with you at 50%or more at a time

it means that will be their place of residence for schools, doctors and etc.

ask your lawyer what does he mean and have him to give you a paper exsplaining it to you
