you know why i like him on a few occasions there were real people with special needs and he was the kindest one. I just think that his rudeness keeps people who don't have talent down to a gutsy few.

I think he's brutally honest and I wish more people could be like him. He's the type of person that you KNOW would tell you if you had broccoli in your teeth or a booger dangling out of your nostril. He's the type that says to your face what everyone else waits til you're out of the room to say. I don't think there's anything wrong with it. Some people just plain can't sing and if he can wake them up and make them realize that they're making the rest of us suffer in their utter denial than I say continue on!

He just tells the truth...But he can definately go over the top. Like when he called that poor boy a bush baby on national television, that girl a giraffe, or the comment he made about mandisa. But other than that he just wants the people to know the truth about their singing voice.

Really who cares...he is just like the most of us, being himself.
Do i think he is rude=no but i do find him to be a crass one. He is great for the people whose family didnt tell them that they cant sing or that you need to know the whole song for an audition.
Just one opinion and the only one that matters to me-mine LOL

He's rude to the right people. Some people just need to be told the truth. On the other hand, he can't keep his mouth shut and has said no to some very talented people.

That's part of the reason people tune in to watch AI. I don't use the word "rude". He might be mean sometimes, but most of the time, he is speaking the truth. Unlike that bimbo sitting next to him. Oh! not to offence those who like her.

Well, yeah,he's rude but I love sarcasm. The onyl thing is,sometimes I feel sorry for people that get horribly ridiculed. But,then I remember they know what the show is like and they chose to chance it knowing they havent got talent.

No.
He is honest.
With 10's of thousands of auditions, he has no time to waste.
But coming from a construction worker like me, Simon is quite tame.

I would be rude too if I had to spend all that time listening to such mediocre music and being near Ryan Seacrest and Paula Abdul.

Simon who? American what? Okay, to be fair, I've seen commercials for the show. But do people really watch that crap? To me the premise is rude: the no-talents are not screened out but deliberately used to "entertain" you.
And what's with your name?
What is "Ying Yang"? I'm familiar with "Yin" and "Yang"
but what is "Ying"? Oh do tell.
