I hate having a bunch of searches that resulted in bad response to a search engine. I want to remove some if not all previous searches on yahoo and other search engines.

Click in the search box and highlight search term, hit delete. Repeat for each entry.

Empty out the search window, and then click your cursor over it. You should get a drop-down list of all of your previous searches, since it is blank.

Put your cursor over the first choice, and hold down your DEL key until they are all gone.

Viola, clear.

It depends on the browser that you are using if you are using IE 7 then just go to tools ......just deleting the history wont help you you have to go from tools>delete browsing history >delete all or even delete each of them separately( Temp Internet files, cookies, history, passwords, form data etc.....) That will clear your system of all footprints.....if you are using IE 6 then go to tools then you will have to delete all of them one by one( Temp Internet files, cookies, history, passwords, form data etc.....) separately....better off if you download IE 7

if you just want to escape the drop down list on search engines and wish to keep the history and Temp files ...just delete them one by one...when they appear in the drop down list ( you just have to hit the down arrow key with the cursor in the search window.
